Introduction

Purpose

To foster the development of clinical investigators in the United States
To solidify the infrastructure for educating individuals in the art and science of clinical investigation
To foster the professional growth of its Members by providing a forum to discuss new developments in clinical research training methods and techniques concerning human diseases, and other related matters
To promote the development of clinical research training of individuals to investigate human diseases
To communicate with elected officials concerning legislation which affects the clinical research training programs in which Members are involved
To promote technological advances for training of individuals in effective research techniques to improve patient care

Mission

To improve the health of the public by increasing the amount and quality of clinical research through expanding and continually improving clinical research training.
